You have done a nice neat job. How did you finish the step flashing's against the lower wall leading up to the intersection? They do the waterproofing at that point. If you have bent them vertically, and then flattened them out onto the lower pitched roof, and THEN put the transition flashing over the top, that will stop any leakage. I am finishing up a roof slope transition and had a piece of flashing bent with a built in cant. Question: How to transition the slate/flashing onto the neighboring roof? Detail: where the two roofs meet, a slate wants to naturally lay on both roofs (shed and full roof), which causes the slate to be pitched up and doesn't seem right... a little less than half is on the flashing with the cant and the other on the flat roof with no flashing. Please help as I am stuck and have a nice weekend to continue to slate.
