I had slate work done on a 140 year old house. While doing the work, they found rotted decking. They were able to do the repairs at that time, however when I got the change order, I found out they used plywood decking. Is this acceptable? This is a very, very reputable company - an industry leader. It probably it an on-site miscommunication. How do I handle this. Is plywood ever acceptable?
