beeeeyoooootiful mon! what a breath of fresh air to see a proper job these days! across the pond it almost never happens anymore and if these guys get their way, proper will even be illegal soon as it already is in places like south florida USA. do you guys have a free market?

yes those would most probably be oak . Oak hates fresh water laying in it, rots it, that is why the ships had salt packed between plank layers, only in tropics does oak need copper sheathing, because the marine worms are into eat like fruitcake. |

nice, must have big timbers to hold that span and chord, must be tonnes on those I can remember Northern Italy where they just pile flat rocks onto the roof, you see many caved in, would not be fun when a 15lb rock landed on your bed when asleep |

yeah thats me on the coke lol. Yeah we marking tail lines. They are random slate plus you get them to line up better using tail lines as its tails thats showing |

Are you striking your lines on the slates as opposed to marking them all on the underlayment? It looks like a lot more mork to me. Is that you drinking the coke? |

thanks very much am doing two round ones at moment ill post some pics, doing them in random scotch slates on the spire are a welsh slate there called port madoch there an attempt to copy scotch slate |
