The National Slate Technology Center Architects Institute Course offerings for 2005-06 are now scheduled for architects, specifiers, roofers, and builders. Select the course offerings link to see descriptions and dates for each course. NOTE: There are still openings in all courses. Call for information or fax registration form. The National Slate Technology Center is a registered provider with the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System. Our courses offer AIA/CES or HSW credits. For more info go to http://www.nationalslatecenter.org/index.html Joe Jenkins will be teaching the following course: March 23-24, 2006, Traditional Slate Roof Installation for Architects: National Slate Technology Center - This course will focus on the needs of architects to know and understand installation techniques for slate roofing, including flashing and gutters, moisture and ventilation, underlayments, and slate roof repair. There will be hands-on opportunities and demonstrations as well as information on specifying and detailing costs for slate roofing.- Total hours: 12; Thursday 12:00 pm until Friday 5:00 pm; Maximum participants: 15; Cost: $300.
