I was at a show in Atlantic city two weeks ago and this company NABOCKER had slate hooks and butterfly clips for repairing slate roofs has anyone used or heard of these? How do they work. You can go to www.nabocker.com and look under slate hooks and you will see them. |

Stephen, Believe it or not they are nailed with two nails thru the small holes, between two slates like a hook placement-then sealant set in the two larger holes and finally raise the two bottom tabs to hold it in place until the sealant sets up. Hard to believe going thru all that effort and spending 85 cents each and achieving less than using a copper hook. As P. T. Barnum once said--- |
