Seems much more complicated than a simple and effective slate hook. I don't see how this is an improvement over the slate hook. |

If you view the video, it appears that he drives a nail specifically to hold the device, and could easily place it at intermediate points rather than exactly on 3-inch of 4-inch location. |

Hi Liam, Have you used this clip? The guy sent a video of it to me a couple weeks ago, but it doesn't look like it would be any faster than a regular slate hook. Also, it only allows for an exact 3" or 4" head lap. Sometimes when you're adjusting your rows the head lap could be 3 1/2" or something different than an exact 3" or 4", and the slate wouldn't hang right. Those were my thoughts on it.
