The problem is that this project fall under the historic preservation ordinance, therefore the brackets at SRC store do not meet historic compatibility requirements. The installation is on an EPDM roof we installed last year, the base plates can be smaller than are often installed on slate projects, the brackets will be mounted directly to the rafters. If anyone has other suggestions I would appreciate it!   Slate Affair Inc.
