Snow rails (http://josephjenkins.com/store/home.php?cat=310) and/or snow guards (http://josephjenkins.com/store/home.php?cat=267) will help. Snow rails with expanded stainless steel wire backing may be what you should be looking at. | ||

I am responsible for the maintenance for several schools with slate roofs. I get work orders from time to time expressing concern about slates that have fallen off of the roof...concerns me too. I have funds availabel for maintenance of slate roofs and do have a contractor do repairs and PM work each year. Are there any devices disigned to prevent slates from falling when they come loose; something I could gets bids on from contractors to install? Thanks. Chuck B. |
