With out situation it would cost too much to relay the tiles and secure them mechanically. We decided to spec the job with a Liquid Nail PolyU adhesive. It is rated for outdoor jobs like this. thanks for the help fellas |

Tamal, what are we looking at there? Is that a parafit wall to the left? Do you have some more pictures? Using adhesive to attach slates is very unorthodox. It complicates repairs, and will likely affect the service life of the roof. If you are repairing individual tiles, they should be attached with nails or slate hooks if possible. |

We are working on an old building in new york city that used an adhesive to bond slate tiles to a concrete roof. We are seeking to reinforce/restore the slate roof while trying to avoid removing and re-fastening the tiles.
