I'm repairing an old small structure (15'x15') with a good slate roof. It has a black walnut tree about 10' from it.

For anyone with experience with black walnuts - should I have any concern about damage to the slate when the walnuts fall? There isn't any evidence of damage currently, but the tree is relatively young and I don't want to invite future problems.
