I'm interested in purchasing an old house with a damaged asbestos roof. 90% of the roof appears to be sound but there are several broken and/or missing tiles. Based on your photos and previous conversations, it sounds like if the roof is in good shape, keep it. In this case, we have a house where we will have to replace the guttering and either use replacement tiles or remove it all together. Suggestions? |

I am willing to pick up the diamond tile if you replace the roof. |

Have you read the asbestos roof section in this message board? One problem with removal is the EPA and OSHA and the fact that asbestos is considered a hazardous material. The roofs are repairable and I have added a "sources of new and used asbestos tiles" section to this web site (see home page, top right area). |
