I have a house which was built after WWII. It's a well designed house, and I'd like to maintain that look. The siding and the roof are asbestos. The roof leaks, and a tree fell on it a few years ago adding to the problem. I'm weighing replacing the roof v repairing. But, it really does seem that there would be a longer life span for a new roof. Two questions:
1) When does it become a better choice to replace rather than restore the roof?
2) What tiles on the market would closely match the look of asbestos shingles.
