The slate is probably center nailed - one nail at the top center. The Ballachulish slate I've seen is very hard and long lasting. Should be an interesting job. I have been to Devon (Totnes). had a sister-in-law there at one time. |

hi all.i have a job coming up in scotland its on the west coast, the slate on roof is Ballachulish. this is going to be reused any tips. |
