This is an old one from 1899 -a Quarry in Trinity Bay Newfoundland. man that looks dangerous, look at that ladder in the back ground....

YEA! You mean the guy standing holding the slate I take it, that was my first thought but I didnt dare to mention it.. The hole puncher design is still similar to some I see around. Steve at Rising and Nelson still uses one like this sometimes in his shop. Here is a photo that has nothing to do with slate but is a nice view from atop the Emipre State bldg.
