Hi.

If the roof has glavanized iron nails used to install the slates 80 years ago, will I run into problems by using copper bibs for repairs. Ie, the copper bib on top of an old galvanized nail would lead to future problems?

Shouldn't be a problem. The bibs are unlikely to contact the nails.
