Have a 60-year old 11 square slate roof.
Appears to be PA slate (blackish-gray/flaking/swelling).

No valleys, one chimney.

Do I replace or repair/restore?

They probably have some life expectancy still but without seeing a picture of the roof it's hard to advise properly.
Do you have numerous missing slates?
Are there chronic leaks?
How long have you owned the home and how long do you expect to live there?
These are all factors which might help determine whether to repair or replace.
