Tim Dittmar,

Came across your brief discussion regarding staining a fiberglass shingle roof. I have a light grey asphalt shingle roof which also does not go well with my house. I also have toyed with the idea of staining the shingles. My thought was to use some kind of exterior stain. The thought being if the stain was meant to be exposed to the weather anyway and would adhere to the shingle, why would it not work. Have you had any further success / insights into this scenario?

Thanks Richard
