Wondering what kind of paint to use on copper flashing/bibs etc. Should the copper be primed with some sort of primer prior to top coat? Have had problem with drip points of slate above wearing through flashing in valleys and aprons.

We typically use "tinner's green" when painting old copper flashings. No primer is needed. Tinner's red is fine too.
