Do you mean slope? It would be 4:12.

what is the minimun angle requried for a slated roof when building an extension?

4:12 is typically considered minimum

There is no max angle. I install slate on walls all the time. As far as Egland you sould look at local codes. Here in the US I would say that a typical slate roof it is 10/12 or 12/12 or more.

Can anyone tell me the minimun angle, or the angle that is generally used for residential slate roofs in England? As I'm doing a project and need the answer asap...all help appreciated :D
