I have bird houses on my property without a way to clean them and every year there is birds. Maybe they are the same ones, I don't know but they get used. |

Hey that's nice! I like the idea for the slate on the bottom. I was thinking the same thing regarding cleaning out the roof tile birdhouses. Maybe some wasps will find them useful after a bird made use of it. |

Never saw it but it looks like a good idea. The problem with birdhouses is that you should be able to clean them out every year. We have made copper ones here for years. They have slate floors that pop out and the nest from the previous year then drops out. Then a new bird nest can be built. Otherwise, the birds will just ignore the birdhouse rather than try to remove an old nest.

Has anyone seen this before? I'm guessing you put these where they don't get too much sun. http://www.designboom.com/design/birdhouse-rooftile-by-klaas-kuiken/?utm_campaig n=monthly&utm_medium=e-mail&utm_source=subscribers |
