FOR SALE: Our company recently purchased approx 50,000 sq ft, estimated 35-40,000 usable, Ludowici roofing tiles off of an old church. There is 3 different types of tiles, Classic, Coffeyville, Small and a Large Ridge Cap (all green: some plain, some speckeled, some 2 holes, some with 1 hole ) We have Ludowici-Celadon from early 1900's, with dates on the tiles from 1917. The tile has a spray of white paint on it, probably when the house was painted. A chip out of the top right corner and a glob of black sealant on the left side. Am looking for several squares of this. The finish is shiny. Read somewhere that a dull green finish was also produced. The color of green is not a big issue as the off-green tiles would go on the back of the house, up near the peak.

Hi. My first post here. I own an old house in Kansas City, MO. Rook leaks mean we have to going to have the underlayment completely redone soon. Am looking for Ludowici Brookville green 'book' tile. Any help or suggestions as to where I could find some of this lovely old tile would be greatly appreciated. |
