what is the going price for total replacement of box gutters per unit and what type of guarantee shoud you expect for copper gutters. also, what are the recommendations or preferences between coated copper and stainless steel? Is one easier to install than the other? Is the entire gamut of gutters and accessories available in both coated copper and stainless steel? |

I live in Erie PA and recently had a new yankee put on. It cost $850. The gutter is about 45 feet long and is coated copper. I would say it should last "forever". At least 50 years if not more. The only reason the original 1922 one was removed was ice damming caused some damage and then birds caused more. The new one looks industructible. Make sure your roofer welds/solders all downspouts and seams. |
