150.00 per square if I don't have to move them again. Reclaiming the slate off these roofs, well, almost like migrant work. Maybe we just took too much care in the removal, thus involving more time. Know better this next time around I suppose. |

Durable will not buy unless they have a need for them. They will only take them on consignment until they use them for a job. Call me, I'm interested in the 12x22. Kurtis: 502.797.7017 |

Andrrew, I am not sure how much you have into taking them off from the roof, but you have about 20 squares of the larger ones and about 17 squares of the smaller ones. Unless someone has a immediate use for them, they will be a drag on the market. One of the recycling companies (perhaps Durable Slate Company) would pay you for them, but I am not sure enough as they would have to sit on them too. Brand new, they would bring about $300.00 to $350.00 a square. Used would bring less. How much are you trying to get? |

Yes, the quantities are 3800-3900 of the 10x16 and 2500-2600 of the 12x22. I've received some responses on the slate from some emails I sent out... buying for less than it cost for me to take it down. Paying help and all, and its not even moved from the site yet. Economy or capitalism? |

Wow, you guys are awesome! Really good sounds come from this slate when tapped, no dull thuds or anything like that. I was kinda expecting that when I set out to remove all the slate, I am impressed with the longevity of slate! I am running into a lot of slate on buildings I need to dismantle, on average I'd say they look the same. ps, Had a couple nibbles on the slate last night, does this slate have much value? |

A picture of the back of the slate or a broken pcs to see the inside of the pcs will help with the correct color match. |

The rectangular ones look like Vermont semi-weathering gray green to me. The one with the clipped corner does look like unfading green. That would make a lot of sense it being in ohio. It probably came from evergreen in vermont |

Maybe it's just the tones in the photo put the "pinkish areas" makes me think VT fading green. |
