Yeah, I have a bunch of slate in my slate yard lying flat on pallets, too. That's how people bring it to me. We restack it when we have time. | ||

The owner buy the slate with out seeing it and this is how it showed up. Always buy slate that is on its side and not flat.  Here is a slate that should have been removed before being sold.  This is what is left after checking they all. I had just enough to do the 3sq I had to do out of 1200 pc (12 x 22).  Here is where they were installed.  |
