Liam, the house had no copper left when we did the bid. The old chimney caps were standard galvanized.
The cross and caps are my own designs. They want to re-slate the turret eventually with monson or another hard black slate. The asphalt roof was just installed: no sense in fixing what isn't broken. I know it will wear out in a while and they'll call me to slate it :)

Very, very nice ornamental copper work. There must of been some time in the chimney cap. You will need to try and sell that green slate roof, to make the house stand out more! Was there copper pcs on both the chimney and turret.

Some pictures of a copper-work project we are completing. I'm told the house had slate on it until some time in the 60's. It's a shame because most of the houses in this neighborhood have VT sea green slates. I bet it would have been a beautiful roof with all of the copper and the green slates.
