Are they built in Gutters or fascia mounted? Where are you located? Is that 110 feet of gutter and then new downspoouts. It does sound a bit steep, but then again, it depends on the answers to those questiions.

Hi, I recently purchased a house with slate roof and copper gutters. It's not clear what exactly the gutters will need but they will definitely need repairs. There seems to be only one company that does this where I live and they have quoted me $2000 for cleaning, inspection and general roof repairs. So far so good. But they have also estimated that it may cost $12000 to repair the gutters, assuming 110 feet have to be replaced. That sounds crazy to me. I'm wondering whether I should get rid of the copper gutters entirely. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
