Ok Joe, but then you may laugh at my efforts with slate This was all an experiment, I have learned heaps and picked up good stuff here too. That's a synthetic rope so it,ll be there long after the building as the sun cannot get to it Another idea with rope is on your lead caps, dunno correct term, a 2inch dia rope , well you could beat the lead over that methinks |

Fell free shift this Joe, if there is a place already for cants Seemed like a lot of fiddling on a curve to use short battens or even to spring a cedar full length batten around , so I did it with rope, takes seconds as you go |
